Introduction
Hi, my name is Arnold,
, born in Hungary
I have a wide range of interests from design to back-end, from game development to 3d modelling, but my main thing is Front-End.
Front-end
Nowadays I mostly work within the Angular ecosystem (ngrx, material, etc...), plus integrating and working with gRPC within it, but I have experience with setting up and working with React and I've dealt with native javascript before that. I'm confident that I can learn and be useful quickly with any framework, be it Vue, Svelte or what have you.
I pride myself on being able to build complex responsive layouts and to make sense of the messiest CSS. I'm performance oriented, from optimizing assets to utilizing javascript and framework specific best practices.
Back-end
Have some experience with PHP and MYSQL, but most likely I won't be your next BE developer. Though I'd be happy to tip my toes into .NET / C# if it comes to it.
Design
I'm proficient with Right now trying to get used to Affinity Photo Photoshop, designed quite a few smaller websites, webshops and logos. I have a love for 3d modeling, texturing and everything that comes with it. Mostly using Blender.
Other tools:
I'm a confident user of GIT commands, be it resolving conflicts, rebasing branches or cherry picking. I have some basic experience working with TeamCity and setting up build steps
Soft skills
I have experience working remotely with a London based, multinational, multilingual team. So my english is generally considered good enough.
I try to keep on top of the industry by reading blogs, watching youtube and listening to podcasts.
My works
I've built around 150 - It's enough, that I won't count it, to get an exact number, that's for sure! 200 websites in some form in the last 4 - 5 years! Not counting the army of newsletters and e-mail signatures. Plus a lot of other stuff that's behind private repos
3D stuff
In "Ye Olde Times" I did some 3D modelling and everything that comes with it. I didn't exactly kept this knowledge alive, but I can still do some basic stuff.
